Amar’s only power lies in her species gift of speech. Bestowed by their Patron, Faolan long ago, the Rafe have evolved and learned many spoken languages. The Rafe are larger than most wolves, and fewer as well, wandering Ariatless, constantly in service to their patron and always seeking a return to their home realm of Kihnyen.
Amar becomes a leader of the divided Wetlands Pack when the Alpha wolf decides to serve Talicor in exchange for food to feed his starving pack. Amar leads those in the pack who prefer their souls over their stomachs.
Will Amar befit her new leadership role? Or will she lead her pack to their demise?
