Carrie's power generates a strong electric charge. She is capable of creating static electrical bursts in her immediate area. Carrie is also prone to uncontrollable build ups and expulsions of power. Like all mages, without her focal object, Jarath's Ring, using her inborn magic will cause internal injury. She does however, appear to have an unrelated knack for protective and visionary abilities which manifest in a cocooning net of gold and in gold washed vision that reveals the true nature of things.
As a mage, Carrie is perfectly capable of creating a strong, driving force of pure energy. She has difficulty with more delicate workings. Her ability to shape raw power leaves something to be desired.

Not unlike her powers, Carrie has been known to explode. Nearly a year older than most of her friends, the almost twelve-year-old has lived an unpredicatable, roller coaster life and her moods and reactions tend to mirror it. She is, however, very good at maintaining her popular status at school. Carrie is the queen bee for a reason. Sharp and smart, despite her issues, Carrie knows how to get what she wants and doesn't seem to have any problem doing whatever it takes.
